On June 24-25, 2023, the Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University will host the annual conference of the International Public Law Society (ICON•S Georgia) "Challenges of Modern Public Law", organized with the financial support of USAID Rule of Law program, the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports of Adjara Autonomous Republic, Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University and dedicated to 30th anniversary of faculty of Law. ICON•S Georgia is an academic organization that was established in Georgia last year, unites the academic staff of various Georgian universities, including BSU, and its goal is to promote the development of public law in Georgia, research and strengthen international academic cooperation. More than 100 speakers from Georgian and foreign universities will participate in the conference, there will be 4 plenary sessions with invited foreign and Georgian experts, 24 thematic panel sessions, book presentation and book exhibition.
