
III International Summer School in Digital Humanities ‘Specific Problems of Corpuslinguistics and Kartvelology’ has opened in Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University, organized jointly by the BSU and Frankfurt Goether University.
The Summer School welcomes 100 Georgian and International participants who will work on Georgian National Corpus Development. New generation, interested in innovative approaches will take part in the creation of the digital humanities platform with the guidance of the European and Georgian scientists. BSU Honorary Doctor, Jost Gippert initiated interdisciplinary workshops for the students of Summer School, where European scientists will present their works during ten days. The Summer school envisages tutorials, academic discussions and seminars to further develop corpus linguistics. The Summer School is generously funded by the Shota Rustaveli National Scientific and Volkswagen International Foundations.
