On December 11, the Rector of Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University, Tite Aroshidze, together with members of the delegation, met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to Japan, Teimuraz Lezhava, in Tokyo, the capital of Japan, as part of a working visit.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the objectives of the visit, the results achieved, and prospects for future cooperation. Particular attention was paid to strengthening partnerships with various Japanese universities and to the implementation of joint academic projects. At the initiative of the Embassy, a visit to the Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology was scheduled.
