
Scholars from Georgian, German and Armenian universities have opened a three –day Tempus programme seminar at Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University: ‘Modernization of Mathematics curricula for Engineering and Natural Sciences studies in South Caucasian Universities by introducing modern educational technologies (MathGea)’.
The mathematicians will discuss modernization issues of math courses in the engineering and natural sciences curricula.
It considers structural upgrade of the curricula with the introduction of courses in comparative analysis, and statistics etc. for the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) disciplines. This will be accomplished in accordance to the Bologna principles, through the shared European experience and practices of proven technology with educational innovations in the partner universities.
