On July 30, 2025, the Summer School “Political Criteria for EU Membership and Europeanization” closed at the Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University. The school and participants awarded with the Jean Monnet international certificates. The Summer School is organized every year and funded by the “Erasmus+” program, within the framework of the Jean Monnet Module “Political Criteria for EU Membership and Europeanization of Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine”, which has been implemented at the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences since 2023. The Jean Monnet Module aims to promote excellence in teaching and research in the field of European Union studies. This year, the Summer School was held in collaboration with the “Sibillini Europe” Association (Italy), whose members delivered lectures for the Summer School students.
