• Elsevier

Since April 21, 2014, with the support of the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation and the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, Georgian state universities have free access to Elsevier's ScienceDirect and Scopus databases.

ScienceDirect contains nearly one-quarter of the world's peer-reviewed scholarly, technical, and medical literature in full-text format.

Scopus is an abstract and citation database that provides research analysis tools across all fields.

Electronic resources are accessible from university computer networks, and with registration, can be used from anywhere. To access the database, type the following in your internet browser's address bar: www.sciencedirect.com  or www.scopus.com

• Web of Science (WOS) (access.clarivate.com)

This is a database that provides access to 3 major indices: Science Citation Index Expanded, Social Sciences Citation Index, and Arts & Humanities Citation Index. WoS also supports cited reference searching

• Cambridge Journals Online (https://www.cambridge.org/core/)     

The database provides free access to digital archives from 1997 onwards, containing 161 journals in Social Sciences Citation Index (SSCI), Science Citation Index (SCI), and 46 journals in Arts & Humanities Citation Index from Thomson Reuters. It features 384 leading journal titles across various disciplines.

Contains 125,000 full-text articles in biology, ecology, environmental protection, and social sciences. Includes 184 high-impact scientific research journals.

Journals cover economics and economic relations intervention, leadership institutes and humanism, including Cambridge international law journals.

The database contains articles in mechanical engineering (SAGE Publishing) from 1847 to present. 17 out of 18 titles are included in Thomson Reuters Journal Citation Reports, and all journals are indexed in SCOPUS.

This database is a significant resource for economic and analytical research. It contains information on balance of payments, econometric models, economic cooperation development, policy, energy, governance, financial institutions, as well as: monetary policy, foreign investment, globalization, international organizations, international trade, labor market, monetary policy, monetary-credit relations, political economy, poverty reduction, exchange rates, regional economics, trade agreements and tariffs.

The database contains medical journals with published articles, reviews, and reports on new medical research. The database includes multimedia and interactive content units and videos on clinical medicine.

65% of SAGE journals are represented in the 2010 Thomson Reuters Journal Citation Reports (JCR). Here you can find research in humanities, social sciences, technology, business, and medicine.

• MEDLINE https://www.medline.com/account/login.jsp

An authoritative source of medical information containing information on various medical fields: nursing, dentistry, veterinary medicine, healthcare systems, pre-clinical subjects, and others. This database is created by the National Library of Medicine's MEDLINE and uses MeSH (Medical Subject Headings) indexing, providing access to over 5,600 current medical publications.

• ERIC  (the Education Resource Information Center) https://eric.ed.gov/

This is an educational research and information database. It provides access to information from various journals indexed in both the Current Index of Journals in Education and Resources in Education Index. The database contains over 1.4 million records and provides links to over 337,000 full texts.

• Regional Business News  https://www.economist.com/enterprise

A diverse database offering full texts of business publications across the US and Canada. It covers any information, whether it is presidential candidate biographies, restaurant franchises or retail chains, business planning or political participation. Regional Business News content is provided by leading business publishers including The Washington Post, PR Newswire US, etc. Primary resources include newspapers, radio and television news program transcripts, and full texts of publications and journals.

A commercial internet database service specializing in legal matters.

The database contains statutes, government regulations, academic law reviews, commercially produced law journals and classic treatises, historical, governmental and political documents, legislative debates, legislative and executive branch reports, world constitutions, international treaties, international organization reports, and other documents.

The database contains over 192 million pages of material in both text and image-based formats.
