Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University hosted the second day of the CARE SEA final conference, titled "Transboundary Science for a Cleaner and More Sustainable Black Sea."

The meeting was attended by representatives of the legislative body and municipalities of Adjara, as well as Anna Akrivaki, Deputy Mayor of the Greek city of Thessaloniki.

The second day of the conference focused on the restoration of degraded environments and citizen science; presentations and panel discussions centered on these topics.

The scientific forum concluded with a meeting of the project's steering committee, during which the "Batumi Memorandum" on two-year cooperation was signed.
