US -Georgia Friendship Week at BSU

Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University celebrated US-Georgia 25 years of friendship anniversary. The festive events dedicated to the diplomatic relations of the two countries continued for a week. The Consulate at the US embassy, International Development Agency (USAID), Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) held exhibitions introducing the culture, exchange and grant projects which the US Government implements in Georgia. The US Week ended with a concert given by the BSU Band, ‘Helomaniakk’ (a rock-group) the hip-hop performance by the ’Two Step Crew’ and Levan Laghidze Girls’ Choir. The 25th anniversary of the US-Georgia diplomatic relations was attended by Charles F. Seten, the US Embassy economic officer. BSU Rector Merab Khalvashi, Vice Rectors Natia Tsiklashvili and Tamar Siradze hosted the events.
